Alison Muir – stretched

stretched, an exhibition of mixed media textiles and paper, has expanded Alison Muir’s dyeing processes, pushed her criteria for artwork and provide textiles that can be hung immediately on a wall. Some works are framed. All works are one-off, never to be repeated and mostly made in Sydney. Techniques include dye, print, paint, stitch, and collage. Some textiles are recycled, and a full colour range is available with a predominance of indigo and blue.
