Barbara Rogers works in shibori, an ancient Japanese resist dye technique. There is an infinite number of ways one can bind, stitch, fold or compress cloth for shibori, resulting in very different patterns. Each method achieves a specific result, and is used to work in harmony with the type of cloth.
In geometry, a diagonal is a line segment joining two non-consecutive vertices of a polygon or polyhedron. Informally, any sloping line is called diagonal.
